ADB works fine after the stick has booted, but not during the countdown. I'm using windows 7 64 bit. I see someone else had this same error and was able to resolve it, but he wasn't kind enough to explain how for the next guy. I tried all the methods advised to him so far in this thread, including the drivers posted right above this post which are supposedly the miracle drivers lol. Nothings worked. Edit: I have now tried this on three different pc's. My desktop and two laptops.
All running windows 7 64bit. I've tried 6 different usb cables in all usb ports. Apparently this is just a no go if you are using windows 7. Can this be done from linux? I wouldn't mind installing a distro to one of my laptops if it's possible. Don't know how to get adb on linux though. Would need a walk through.
Does android sdk have a linux version? I'm such a noob. Code: @echo off echo Waiting for connection.:check for /f%%i in ('adb get-serialno') do ( set serial=%%i ) if not '%serial%' == 'unknown ' goto connected timeout /t 2 >nul goto check:connected echo Connected. Type 'mouse', press ENTER, then press 'D' to boot recovery: adb shell2. Plug in the device to your computer's USB port 3. Type 'mouse', enter, and 'D' when instructed Not a big difference at all, but convenient if you have to do this a lot Running `adb shell mouse` does not work for some reason, and TWRP lacks android's `input` command to send mouse events, so this is the best I could come up with.
