Adibou Je Lis Je Calcule Serial Podcast. The Novo Engine Company was based in Lansing, Michigan and went through many name changes early in its life. The company began in 1890 as a small repair shop under the name Cady & North out of North Lansing, Michigan. At some point, the company changed to the name Cady & Hildreth, and later Hildreth & Son. By 1901 they became Hildreth Motor & Pump Company, then changed names again in 1906 to the Hildreth Manufacturing Company. In 1911, the company finally became the Novo Engine Company. Known primarily for making engines, over the years they were known to have made two-cycle marine engines, small farm pumps, and vertical four-cycle hopper-cooled engines ranging in horse power between 2 and 15 HP.
